The February Edit – 2024
Happy Leap Year! We have one more day of February!
If January is the longest month of the year (and it for sure IS), then February is one of the strangest. Is that fair? I’m not sure everyone feels that way? I just tend to feel … off … in February. Like I need the awakening of a spring that’s just around the corner … I can feel the promise of it and I’m reaching for it, while also feeling just a little blah. Just me?
As promised in The January Edit, I’m back with another edit to cap off the month. This year, I thought it would be fun to end each month with an extra shopping guide – a random mashup of items that caught my eye at some point during the month. Annddd, I’ll include a few monthly highlights (a bit of life-lately) to wrap up the month and put a bow on it 😉
The February Edit: This-and-That spotted or purchased this past month ….
Links: wine bag, table lamp, raffia bag, sweater, loafers, old-fashioned glass, horn and bone frame, women reading print, bathing suit, chris beat cancer book, topiary, top handle bag, retriever sweater, green tealight candle holder, table clock, brightening eye mask
The February Highlight Reel: February was all about finally getting into the swing of a new year. Back to school and work and all the things. It felt good (and needed) to be on a routine and a schedule again. I have some new plans for ElleBeeLovely this year and I was excited to dive into some behind-the-scenes work (looking forward to sharing with you soon.) As a family, we kicked the month off with a visit to WV to see both of my grandmothers … visits with them are always bittersweet now that they are in their 90s 🥹. We also celebrated Valentine’s Day, went to TWO Carolina Hurricanes games and had a family date night to see Drew and Ellie Holcomb in concert. On the ‘Home Project’ side of things, we finished our new dining room table (see it here and here.) Ryan did an absolutely beautiful job and I couldn’t love it more! We, unfortunately, ended the month on a low note … my aunt passed away on the 27th and I’ve been quiet … lost in thoughts of goodbyes.
See ya in March! 👋🏼
