Florals and bunnies and eggs, oh my!
I love most holidays. Are you like that?! I can’t think of a holiday that I don’t like. They just bring a layer of excitement that I need … that I crave. I’m a girl that loves to have something to look forward to. Maybe it’s an upcoming holiday, or maybe it’s a vacation or a weekend getaway. Maybe it’s even a fun date night or girls night that’s planned weeks in advance. I just love to have a little something on my calendar that creates a feeling of anticipation.
Easter is a holiday that I enjoy a lot. It’s simple. Not a lot of fuss. And, while I am spiritual and love Easter for many significant reasons, I also love that it feels like the ushering in of Spring. The Lord rising on the 3rd day AND the arrival of Spring … the newness … the rebirth … the celebration of promise. It just makes me feel … hopeful. Glad. Content.
