A Fall Wardrobe Refresh
Last week on EBL it was all about Fall Home Decor! We set our intentions. We checked in with our senses. And, we decorated our homes with subtle, natural nods to the season. Right?! Yep. Yeah, we did!
This week we are moving into our closets. Now, some of you may disagree … but fall is ALSO the absolute best season for clothes. It’s no longer hot and sticky (well, it kinda still IS some days here in NC, but we’re going to pretend like it isn’t) and it’s not yet cold. The morning air is a bit crisp. The humidity is almost gone. There’s that lovely fall smell in the air. It’s just so good.
Back in our closets – we’re going to start with a quick purge. This doesn’t have to be a full on closet clean-out, but bonus points for you if that’s what you do! 👏🏼 I just did a super quick purge and pulled out a few items that I just wasn’t wearing anymore. Go ahead and donate those. Then, make a quick list of what’s missing and what you’d like to add this season. I like to keep a running list in the Notes section on my phone. This really helps me shop intentionally and not over-buy. It prevents distraction and allows you to focus on what you really want or need to add. On my list this year – tall boots, ballet flats, a suede bag, barrel jeans and a barn jacket! What’s on your list?

- Jeans: wide leg jeans, cuffed jeans, barrel jeans, straight leg jeans

Have a little fun this fall! Embrace warmth and warm tones. Lean in to the brown movement. Add in a little suede. Say ‘hello’ to your favorites from last year. Play it up. Enjoy it.
