Design Spotlight ~ Light Blue
Blue. The color of trust, loyalty, confidence, sadness, sincerity, and faith. Blue. Representing both sea and sky. Blue. Associated with freedom, intuition, imagination and sensitivity. Blue. One of my favorite colors since forever.
I’m not sure if ‘blue‘ ever goes out of style (it doesn’t), but this year it’s IN and in a BIG way. We’re going to be seeing soft blue hues everywhere this spring and summer … in new, fresh, lighter ways.
We saw it on the runway (hi 👋🏼, Fashion Week pastels) and we saw it at the Grammys (we’re looking👀 at you, Sabrina Carpenter … and you too, Benson Boone). Soft blue hues are going to be big in 2025 and I’m not sad about it. As tried and true as blue is … this softer trend somehow still manages to feel new and exciting.
