The Fall Wardrobe Edit: What I’m Wearing This Fall
Fall. November is here (how on earth?!) and it’s finally safe to say that it’s fully fall in NC. I realize that it’s very different in other climates … and that this could potentially sound ridiculous to you, but here in NC, we can be sooo far into fall before it actually ‘feels’ like fall. It’s touch and go … it’s such a tease. One day fall has arrived and the next day you’re sweating again. Rinse and Repeat. For most of September and October.
But. November.
November is the golden hour of the year. Glorious and beautiful. The quiet before the hustle and bustle. A calm anticipation hangs in the air. A month of transition. A month of gratitude. A shift toward coziness and connection. The sky glistens. The leaves fall and swirl about. A glimpse out the window reveals a backdrop of yellows, oranges and reds. Dreamy.
I crave a true fall. In all the ways. Including in my wardrobe. Give me jackets. Give me jeans. Give me suede. Give me sweaters. I want to turn my fireplace on when I come downstairs in the morning. I want it chilly. I want to feel a crisp in the air. I want to smell the leaves when I walk outside
The time has arrived. We can finally dress for the season that we are actually in! And, I have to say, fall fashion is really showing off this year. The jackets? Perfection.

Fall fashion is all about ease, texture, and the layers you love most. It doesn’t have to be complicated — just thoughtful. Mix what feels good, add a little cozy, and let the season do the rest.
