Mother’s Day Gift Guide – 2024
This one is for the mothers.
The ones who see us, know us, love us, support us. The ones who carry us, cry with us, lift us, encourage us. The ones who led us and held us. The ones who are in it with us, who walk with us, who talk us through it.
Our mothers, grandmothers, mothers-in-law, aunts, sisters, friends, neighbors.
We love you. We thank you. We are incredibly grateful to share this life with you.
It’s not about the gift. For the most part, mothers don’t care about the gifts. Maybe I’m speaking for myself here (but I know I’m not alone), but mostly we just want a sweet, little moment in time. A peaceful moment where we can feel a sense of calm, where we can feel seen, where we are acknowledged.
Plus homemade cards from our babies. We want those too. Doesn’t matter how old they are.
